I’m pleased to report that I have had two papers published this week.

The first is ‘Do Australian Fire Brigades Owe a Common Law Duty of Care? A Review of Three Recent Cases’. This paper appears in Volume 3, No. 1 (2013) of the Victoria University Law and Justice Journal. Interested readers can access that paper from the journal’s website at http://vulj.vu.edu.au/issue/current/showToc.

The second is my paper ‘Enforcing Safety with Law – Implications for Incident Controllers and Fire Agencies’. This was presented at the International Association of Wildland Fire (IAWF) Safety Summit, held in Sydney on October 25 and 26, 2012. The IAWF has now published the full proceedings of that summit, and these can be located at http://www.iawfonline.org/Sydney2012/Final_12th_Safety_Summit_Proceedings.pdf.

I hope these are of interest.
